50th Annual
Celebration

check-in, fellowship, mission displays, and refreshments

Join us to celebrate all that we have done together as United Women in Faith this year! The day will feature two wonderful speakers, a lovely lunch, awards, music, officer elections, a book signing, and plenty of fellowship. Local missions will be on hand with displays, ready to answer your questions about their programs, ways you can volunteer, and support them. 

We welcome everyone to register and attend. No membership required. 

Our two featured speakers: 

Bishop Ruben Saenz, Jr. 

. . . was elected as a Bishop in 2016 and has served the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church since January 2023. Since 2022 he has served the Central Texas Conference. 
The Bishop and his wife, Mayé, have four adult children, and all are active in the life of The United Methodist Church. Two of their sons serve as pastors of growing congregations in the Rio Texas Conference. He and Mayé have 10 grandchildren.

Brittany K. Barnett

. . . is the author of "A Knock at Midnight: A Story of Hope, Justice, and Freedom" and the founder of Girls Embracing Mothers (GEM). She grew up in the East District of the North Texas Conference and is an attorney. 
GEM has received a large grant from UWF so we want to hear about how she is empowering women in prison and their daughters to break the cycle of incarceration to lead successful lives.

Registration and Lunch

Registration is required and there are options.  
Lunch will be a salad trio catered by Chocolate Angel. A vegetarian option is available. If your lunch needs to be Gluten Free please make note in the box at the end of the form.

Our by-laws require that nominees for the election of officers be posted 30 days in advance of the election.
