Mission u is a transformative experience designed to recharge and refocus your faith. You'll also learn more about United Women in Faith and what makes us all so passionate about this organization! A bonus is getting to know women from across the conference who share share your love for missions and justice.
We all need time to recenter and restore, enrich our spirits and take care of our souls. Mission u is the current name for a 100+ year tradition of women gathering in the summer for mission education. Choose to be part of this nurturing community that will encourage and inspire you to grow. All adults are welcome - no membership is required.
NTC Mission u Evening Virtual:
Tuesday & Thursday evenings 7 - 9 pm on Zoom

This popular time is a lovely way to end a summer day -- with inspiration and fellowship. These four 2-hour sessions will be led by Rev. Shandon Klein (click name for short bio). United Women in Faith member, Pres Ida Pimentel, from Walnut Hill Church in Dallas will be our Virtual Facilitator.

NTC Mission u Retreat:
July 19 - 20, 2024 at UT-D campus DONE
$130 - includes 4 meals, lodging, classes and fellowship activities
Last year this event sold out, so we've increased capacity this year. We've also extended the hours so we have more time for worship, to reflect and enjoy fellowship with each other.
The retreat will begin at 10 am on Friday morning (check-in opens at 9 am) and finish by 5 pm on Saturday. Your registration includes four meals (lunch, dinner, breakfast, lunch), lodging, parking as well as 8 hours of class time, worship and fellowship activities (fun!). Suites are for three people with 3 separate bedrooms. three sinks, shower and toilet, and a common room for relaxing. Our classrooms and suites will be in the same building, next door to the Dining Hall.
Our Study leaders will be Rev. Danielle Kim, Rev. Gracie Millard and Rev. Christina Hardy. Rev. Rosedanny Ortiz will be our Worship Leader. (click name for short bio). Natalie Garry, United Women in Faith member from Duncanville is our 2024 Retreat Dean.
