We celebrated "Our Impact Over the Years!" at our *Last Annual Meeting as the North Texas Conference of United Women in Faith on Saturday, October 19th, 2024 at FUMC Richardson.

SmithCessilye R. Smith, founder and CEO of Abide Women's Health Services, shared an update and appreciation of our support. They are making a difference in many ways and plan to expand across the South and beyond.Later, Joyce Whitelely counted all the wonderful items made by UWFaith of N Texas!Joyce Whiteley reported on the strong support of our 2024 Mission Project for Abide. So many handmade baby caps, blankets & burp cloths! And strong financial support too!The Love offering benefits Abide Wonen's Health Services - who is doing a great job to improve the disparities in maternal health right here in N. TexasSocial Action Coordinator, Ruth Bowen, wonders if anyone could NOT be MAD after watching the true story video Cessilye shared about the loss of a healthy mother just hours after giving birth. We must advocate! Social Action is Love in Action!Dana Jobe, Program Resources, announced those who reported reading at the different Reading Program Levels. Good job!VP Connie Calhoun-Amox announced the Mission Today units. Congraturaltions!Rev. Cheryl Bishop (L) and Rev. Sarah Marsalis-Luginbill served communion.
