If you've called the Metro District office in the past ten years, you've talked to Liz Lancaster. She has quietly served several District Superintendents calmly and with a wealth of information. She is is the Executive Assistant to Rev. Edlen Cowley, the Metro District Superintendent of NTC UMC.
Five years ago Liz was diagnosed with Vulvar Cancer - who knew that was an area that could get cancer?!? She prayed that God would help her find a purpose. She has found her voice to raise awareness of this rare cancer and along the way, learned much about the depths of faith. She was interviewed twice on TV and knows that others have been positively affected by her story. (click the image below to watch her interview.)
Liz would be happy to speak to groups of United Women in Faith about the cancer, her continued faith journey and finding purpose in all the days. Contact Liz directly at her personal email address.
